Canucks won game 1 last night in the best of 7 Western Conference. vs. San Jose...They finally woke up late second period and it was a good battle--some bone crushing hits

Sweet win--even Patrick Marleau dropped the gloves against Bieksa...I dont know what he was thinking cause Bieksa is a fighter and Marleau is not..but he didnt go down easy..

Outshot 35-13 and still won the game. The team that takes the stupid penalties ends up losing. Canucks got away with it early. Sharks didn't.

Nucks had all the penalties in Period 1, then Period 2 SJ--put themselves into 3 --5 on 3 situations and Canucks scored 3 goals. Two pretty dumb penalties that refs gotta call--too many men, and delay of game-shot the puck over the glass in their own end.
