Hello- I am a recent transplant from Colorado and haven't been out to fish anywhere yet. My brother-in-law and his family will be visting next week and we would like to wet a line if we can. Any suggestions for a place within an hour or so of Woodinville where a couple guys could have a chance at a few bass or trout or what have you? Boat rental or shore fishing since I only have a 1 man pontoon. Post here or drop me an e-mail. I appreciate any help. Dan

Trout might be a little difficult on most lakes this time of year as they are probably down deeper with water temps where they are. Best bets would be spiny rays. Not sure about boat rental places. Lake W North end or Arboretum should be good, Lake Sammamish is always good for bass and perch. I would check out Mike's website
http://www.washingtonlakes.com for great information on local lakes. Also the WDFW web site has a list of local lakes by county that they support and what is in them. Good Luck

Hey BigHorn, I see you found the site. There are a bunch of smaller lakes around Monroe area. Perch, Bass, Catfish. You have Chain Lake,Wagner Lake, Cochran Lake, Devil's Lake, Echo Lake, Fontel Lake, Lake Hannan, and Lake Margaret. Stop in at your local tackle shop and you will probably be able to get the skinny on whats going on, or check the archives on this site and see what's listed or e-mail me if you can't find listing's and I'll dig thru my notes and see what kind of info I have on them. Take Care..
