Hey is the area by the golf course open now. I think it's below that 277 bridge but I'm just makin sure. Also where is the 277 bridge, I've never been able to find it. Thanks a lot.

Went out yesterday afternoon near Allentown (Tukwila), by the community center bridge. Didn't catch anything!!! I didn't see anyone around me catching anything either. I saw a lot of fish jumping, but none biting. I hope next week will be better. I heard the tides are bad this week. Someone told me that next week will be the last week fishing will be good lower on the river where I have been fishing (Tukwila), is that true?

I just want to catch one damn it!! It is just so frustrating when you can see 'em jumping, but aren't even having bites.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and goodluck fishing smile

I seriously doubt that Fishin Chick. Fishing in the lower Green should be good till the end of the month for silvers. Then the chums start to show and that is good till Thanksgiving and beyond.

I can remember, two years ago, catching a 15lb mint bright chum day after Thanksgiving with trout gear at the S.112th St. foot bridge. Man, was that a hoot. To bad no one was around to see it. I did not even have a net.

Next week (Oct. 16th), the area up by Hwy 18 opens up. Fishing there is a slam dunk. Good place to practice technique and try different tackle.

Easy, you wrote earlier that lures were your choice up near hwy 18. Is this correct? What colors again? was it the red white daredevil?

Egg loop wasnt to hard to learn. I started just tying the kind of leaders that eagle claw usually makes... Only longer, lighter, and different hooks.

The egg loop is just the exact opposite. you start at the opposite end.

I stopped by the Soos Creek Hatchery today. The hatchery has had 9500 kings and 1500 coho return. There are a ton of fish in those holding ponds, quite a sight! eek

Fished down by the 277 bridge today. Got a small hen on a red worden's blue streak spinner. Had some nice eggs in it. Saw one other fish today. The Soos creek area opens next week. That's where I'll be.

Ya, I stopped by there after work to do some recon. There weren't any fish at the mouth of Soos Creek. All the silvers are holding in the Car Body Hole just down stream from Soos. Saw quite a few caught just in the hour or so I was there. smile

Most guys were chucking orange/red corky and yarn.

I can confirm Carl's observations. There are lot's of fishrolling in the Carbody hole. I stubbornly threw eggs for a while with no results- the switch to small corkies proved successful. Lot's of people, but I can't report a success rate, I went to a vacant area.

fishhin chick,
say you know where highway 18 is? its jus downstream maybe 3/4 a mile or less, depends on where your coming from, where you see all the cars is where you'll want to park and walk down the trail, i prefer bringing my mtn. bike, a heck alot faster in and outa there..
