Fishin sucked! Thursday to Sunday, 15 fish by two of us. (I'll let TM tell his own lies.) No hatches, no chronies, stomach samples showed nothing. Fish tended to fight very little, were skinny. Didn't key on anything. Best I did was on small bead head pheasant tails, #18, cast to rises. Problem was, not many rises. You had to just pick a spot and cast when the opportunity presented itself. Quite a few guys shoed up on Sat., took to fishin chronies. Not many fish caught. This spot could best be out on the back burner and hope for a dynamite spring.
Leaving Friday for another lake over there, has to be better.

PS - TM's dog and bratwurst don't mix!

While you were beating you thumb to death. I was trying to take my finger tip off with a screw driver. I was taking off the old felt from my wading shoes. The screw driver slipped and went into my finger. Don't ask just imagine.

Nice to hear both of you guys are so handy! I've learned to save a step, I bleed when I open the tool box. It saves time, plus I know when it's going to happen.

I know we haven't seen FishnFella on this board lately, but he did want me to say hi to everyone for him. So I done my duty.

Was Ron fishing with you guys this last weekend?

No. The fishing has been rather poor. He took off for CA about a week ago and has kept me informed on his trip. Thought he had a place all lined up to rent for a few months. The price was right but the garbage and location forced him to seek nicer digs. Hopes to have a place by the end of the week. Then, it's fish til you drop.

Trout Masters report is as follows, I did ok on friday afternoon, Fished about 2.5 hours and 5 fish. Saturday was ok I got around 9 . Sunday sucked as I got only 1 worth mentioning . I did get alot of 4 - 8" browns and tiger trout. They were fun on the 2 wt.

P.s Micro Brew has a new girl friend and let me tell you she is a dog.
