The crap I see every day on the road just blows my mind. But, driving a car into the water because Mr Garmin says to is at the top of the list.

South I-5 on the ship canal bridge. People will miss the exit to 520 (now they are in the fast/left lane still on I-5) and stop. I've seen the reverse lights on a car or two thinking they're going to back up and take the exit. All the while I'm staring in my rear view wondering how many cars behind me are going to slam each other. It's not that hard people. Keep going to the next exit and turn around.....

IMHO common sense is that with which you agree.

Saw a nice wreck yesterday where some 20ish gal tried to cut behind a dumptruck, only problem was he was pulling a loaded trailer full of rock. Car totaled she seemed ok but shook up.

Common sense isn't stopping on the freeway and trying to back up because you missed your exit. Common sense doesn't have to be that which everyone agrees upon. Common sense could be 1 person suggesting the exact opposite of what the group thinks but makes perfect sense when it's considered.
