If I was hooked in the mouth, or anywhere for that matter I sure would not be doing alot of flopping around. I have hooked seals before they definetly feel pain, they came right in and could not wait for me to remove the hooks. Fish definetly dont feel pain, if they did they would not fight so hard against the pull of the line. Even if fish did feel pain I would still put the hurt on! PETA has some different Info but I dont care I am a cold blooded, molesting, fishermen

I personally love that PETA article in the mailout package (which is FREE and FUNNY! I love the "Fishing Hurts" stickers to!), about the guy who takes his kid fishing behind a walmart and retires the fish he catches with the back end of a hammer. WELL YEAH THATS GOING TO SOUND BAD, WHO THE HELL USES THE BACK END OF A HAMMER?

Fish might feel pain. I'm personally on the side that they probably do. But I also don't care, because pain is part of life. The life of a wild animal IS pain. Pain is part of their daily existance, and animals tend to have a high tolerance for it. I've seen salmon who have had their bellies bitten out by seals swimming around like nothing happened, until they keel over dead. If they do feel pain, it sure must not bother them much.

cows feel pain, but not by the time cry I bbq part of one. I have said it many times they (peta, serria club, al gore) want to outlaw fishing and hunting and remove meat and milk from the school lunches. it sounds crazy but they expect to get all these thinks one day. Tom
