Does anyone have a report on the potholes? How's the walleye, bass, or trout bite going. I'm heading there the 22nd for a couple of days and was wondering if anyone has been having any luck
Thanks,
Rod

Thanks, I check their site quite often to get the weekly report. I was really looking for anyone that has a recent report on what or how they did. Just curious to see what bait is working or what depth the walleye are being caught at.

Thanks Big jon, I would really appreciate it. And of course I'll post my results as soon as I get back, hopefully the weather will be nice and not blow me off of the lake.

It was a long night for us but we did see some nice walleye taken from where Moses Lake dumps into the potholes reservoir. We also saw a couple of guys getting tickets for snagging (way too much of that going on there) and one got a free ride from the sherriff. Seems like if you could hold out long enough to work your way into the hole there are some nice fish there.

Just got back last night from mardon and here is the report. Day one - no walleye, day two- one walleye @ 19", day three- we were getting a little discouraged because not only were we not catching fish but no one was catching fish either. Of course the wind was 25 mph at times which made boat control alot of fun but we did figure out where they were and what they wanted ( finally!!). When the day was over we had 10 fish on and kept 6 walleye between 19"-21" BUT I had a 10-12 lbs female on for about ten minutes and right before the net could reach her, she turned and out came the hook. oh well what a fight on light gear!!! Day four was a half day and we ended up with 2 more males and called it a trip. All in all a good outing but the spawn is making it tough to locate fish and then get them to bite. hopefully the fish will be a little more aggressive next week for the tournament.
Good luck and tight lines,
Rod
