Didn't want to put this on the main board so here it goes. Looking for a decent point n shoot. Current camera is a Canon PS SD870 IS. It's been hit or miss for me but recently got some sand in it and I'm afraid that any fix is going to cost as much as the camera.

Looking for something simple in the 150-400 range. Seems like a lot of you take excellent photos so suggestions would be welcome. Also, I'd like to know where to purchase. I can always go to 1 of the box stores but always get the same answers.

I'm not opposed to buying used off the board if someone has a decent camera they want to get rid of.

Thanks!

I've had good luck with the Canon D10. It's waterproof to33 feet and takes good underwater shots.

Shootin' a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 with Leica glass. Has impressive HD video with image stabilization. Been happy with IQ thus far into the break-in period.

eBay for a shade over 3 bills....

Another vote for the Lumix.

Went through and Olympus and a Canon and they both crumbled apart.

Your Lumix does take some great ass shots!!! Yeah, I bet you're happy with that, you sly dog! wink

No complaints with my now-outdated Lumix DMC-TS2....although for some reason, the asses I shoot with my Lumix don't look like the one's off of his camera!

I finally decided to move my Olympus 1050SW down a notch in the lineup and ordered a TS3 at a pretty good deal the other day. It's still available as of now @ 269.99 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Panasonic+-+...p;skuId=2433114
