M/V TAHOMA
2005 Selene 36 Archer
SOUTHEAST ALASKA 2012
The M/V TAHOMA will be available for bareboat or captained charters in Southeast Alaska from May 15th through September 15th 2012. Northbound and Southbound positioning cruises will also be made available to accommodate the Alaska charter schedule. Charterers may depart from and return to their choice of Ketchikan, Petersburg, Juneau, and Sitka. No backtracking to the departure port is necessary.
The M/V TAHOMA is a veteran Southeast Alaska coastal cruising machine. It was designed to cruise for extended period of times off the grid in extreme comfort and safety. It comes with a bow thruster, anchor windlass, full galley, island master berth, separate shower stall, full guest stateroom with separate head. There is extensive electronic navigational equipment with redundancy. Its powered by a 230 HP Cummins diesel with a 7.5 knot economy cruise at @ 2.5 gph and a 9 rigid bottom inflatable with a 15 hp outboard.
Southeast Alaska is a cruising gem. Everybody loves boats and boaters. The anchorages are empty, the hiking and fishing is amazing, and the wildlife is abundant. The only way to fully see it is in a boat. For the truly adventurous, plan ahead and get the permit to visit Glacier Bay National Park. This is a protected world-class destination with all the extremes of Mother Nature.
SE Alaska Bareboat Charter Rates:
1 to 4 days: $600.00 per/day
5 to 10 days: $550.00 per/day
11 to 16 days: $500.00 per/day
16 days + Inquire
Captain Inquire
A $7,000.00 damage deposit (2% deductable) is required for charter. This damage deposit can be in the form of a Promissory Note. Our charter rates include all damage and liability insurance for the vessel at no additional costs. Our rates do not include standard running expenses of the vessel: diesel, propane, gas, food, etc.
I encourage you to compare our charter rates with other companies. Our rates are lower because we have high expectations of our charterers. We require the vessel to be surrendered in full charter condition as no agent will be present. All charterers will be required to sign a bareboat charter agreement and complete a short boating resume.
Space is reserved by a 30% deposit on a first come first served basis. The balance of the charter cost would be due prior to departure.
