The reason Moon wasn't drafted isn't because he was black. His UW stats weren't that great at the time. He went to Canada and proved his worth and got his shot.

Those Cody Pickett years were always exciting to watch..especially listening to Keith Jackson's references to Cody as a gunslinger from Chicken Dinner Dr in Idaho!

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Schloredt was way before my time, but all the old Dawgs say he was the best.
How 'bout running backs?
Kaufman? Dillon? Polk? Steele? Lewis? McElhenny?

Kaufman? Dillon? Polk? Steele? Lewis? McElhenny? I always liked Dillon. The guy was a beast. 4 ugly yards was the rule even if there wasn't a hole.

Kaufman? Dillon? Polk? Steele? Lewis? McElhenny? Gotta add Junior Coffey to that list. A few interesting facts about Bob Schloredt: College players during his era often played defense, as well as offense and special teams. As a sophmore Schloredt had a 71 yard punt against Oregon State. As a junior, he played both quarterback and defensive back. On defense, he had seven interceptions. Injured for much of his senior season, Schloredt recovered to lead the 1960 Huskies to an upset Rose Bowl win over #1 ranked Minnesota. He was an Associated Press All American as a junior, and a Sports Illustrated cover boy as a senior. After a two year CFL career, he returned to the UW to serve as an assistant football coach for eleven years. Schloredt was only five years old when a fireworks accident destroyed 95% of the vision in his left eye. Later, he tried to enlist in the military, but was rejected because of this condition. That's some seriously inspirational stuff, right there. They should make a film of this man's life and show it to every Husky football recruit that visits the campus.

I noticed the lettering was in green, like the envy you have felt since becoming the fan of the wrong team. I know it is hard for you, with only like two quarterbacks that anyone can name other than your current starter....which is???? Damn, I can't remember.
