Is there any fishing opportunities in Long Beach? I'm going up there for a few days and don't have much to do to keep me busy!

I was there a couple days ago and caught some surf perch by the "North Head" rock. I had previously seen pictures of pretty decent sized fish from this area, but the ones I caught were small, and I was unable to hook anything of any size.

Bring your salmon casting rod, some coyote spoons, and herring/floats. Procede to the N. Jetty at El Launcho.

You'll know how the bite is by watching the regulars there.
