Myself I don't believe god makes a distinction between those who go to church and those who don't. Nor do I believe he's as evil as some like to believe.

GH- there are some out there that are out there to pick people pockets. I have heard that the easiest way to be come a millionaire is to start your own religion Kinda of sad, but true.

I personally have not sent one cent to a talking head on TV, mainly because I am skeptical of their motives. I like to give where I can see it do some good. Battered womens shelters, local charities and of course, my local sporting goods shop

One thing I could never get around was asking why there were so many many very smart men throughout history, and in virtually every corner of the globe, who disagreed. I knew I wasn't smarter than them, so what was the deal?

Believe me, I'm not trying to change anybody's mind....at all. Make all the fun you need to. I know I did. And for the record, I still cuss God from time to time. It pisses some people off when I tell them that and then say, "But it's OK, He still loves me. He has to. It's His job."

Not your everyday relationship, I'll grant you. But it works for me.

He tells me everyday that there are some real religious fanatics that think they know Him.

I think it's kinda weird how different Christian sects claim they are the REAL Christians and some other bunch of Christians are not real Christians. Who's going to hell and who's going to heaven ,the Mormons or the Baptists? Maybe God will just flip a coin.

Keta, I have a Brother in Law who is like that. I can't begin to tell you the number of times we've "questioned" each other. And basically my argument has been just what you stated....."What makes you think that your view is the only acceptable one?" and then the blah, blah, blah starts.......
