Oregon has a propensity to play flat in the first half, Stanford needs to exploit that and make them pay, then come out and play them tough in the second half.

I agree...Stanford needs to score a lot in the first half, make Oregon play catch up in the second half.

Todd You mean like the whopping 17 points they racked up against my $hittyass Beavs? Like the goose egg in the first quarter? Stanford, I hope last week was just a fluke. I used to call it playing down to your opponent when I faced crappy competition. Go Trees! Come out strong and put it to'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering that, Stanford could get nuked.

Look at the way Oregon played the Cougs at home, they were flat in the first half at home. As for the Beavs, it's clear Opie has run out of tricks to make under achievers winners. My only fear is that they will make him the AD, God help us if that happens. Dee Andros was a sh1ty coach, then they made him the AD, where he hired a series of sh1ty coaches. Hey coach, ever hear the old saying, "If ever you find yourself in a hole, stop digging." They need to do something. If I'm a quality recruit why would I want to go to Corvallis ?

I'm looking forward to the Stanford-OU game. I'm hoping Stanford runs the ball down the Ducks throat.
As far as the Dawgs-SC, the Dawgs just need to play loose as they have nothing to lose.
The Pac 12 has to be disappointed that their championship game is being played on Nov 12th rather then Dec 2nd. Nice job ASU, how could they let that happen????? Slick Rick & UCLA, WTF!

*** Worth noting: The past two meetings have been exciting (176 points) but not all that close, with the outcome based partly on the surface. Two years ago on grass, Stanford jumped to a 17-point halftime lead and was in control throughout a 51-42 win. Last year on turf, Oregon charged back from an early deficit and dominated the second half in a 52-31 victory. Pac-12 football: Stanford vs. Oregon: The point spread, tidbits and more Good point about grass v. turf. Be surprised if Chip doesn't have them practicing on wet grass sometime this week.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

There's a support group called the Beaver Believers. Once in a while one pops up and blurts something out. Usually it's unintelligible. I hafta give 'em credit for sticking with their team even in rough times, though. They are true fans.
