Went down to the cabin at Hoodsport this past weekend with a buddy. He doesn't fish but we walked by the hatchery anyway just to take a look. THE KINGS They were everywhere, guys were out catching them and walking by carrying the catch. Never knew there was much of a fishery for kings down there. Done the Chum thing and even Humpies but Kings!

Of course I didn't have my gear with me. I'm looking down from the bank at 15 to 25 lb fish. I felt ill! Buddy rubbed it in so went over to the Model T for lunch and watched a pretty pathetic Cougar Game. Made him pay for lunch though

Bottom line: Never travel from home without your emergency salmon gear
