I was plottoing a trip to Beda with my fishing buddy and he said he heard that Beda was poisoned recently. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I heard there's fish in it and there's talk about a future rehab.

Thanks Zen. Last year we saw small schools of what appeared to be crappie or bluegills in the shallows.

well.... I only told him I heard there were fish in it. I did not confirm, nor deny any rumors.

It does need to be rehabbed though. A couple of years ago WDFW put some baby white sturgeon in it to control the sunfish... looks like it didn't help much.

Old Man: We have been fishing it for three years, but only for the scenery. Never saw any fish there.

I was over in that area last week and drove into Beda. There were 4-5 guys camped out on a Friday afternoon enjoying the scenery. They were just enjoying the great companionship that fishing offers. You don't need fish for that. Yes, the lake is fishless now......
