We believe in American exceptionalism (America is the SINGULARLY greatest country in the world, with no possible exceptions).

We also believe that we personally have answers (posted on the interwebs) to every economic, foreign policy, and constitutional law question raised.

Now we rip someone for taking credit for things they've ACTUALLY done, and are measurably true? I don't for ONE SECOND think Obama's domestic/economic policies have been magical. I do think spending is a problem, and I do also think our tax policy is messed up and he's really made zero progress there.

But legislatively (healthcare, wall street, nuclear arms deal with Russa) and foreign policy wise (ridding the world of Osama, Anwar al-Awlaki and Moammar Qaddafi), he's gotten some stuff done. You may not agree with it, but he's factually saying "hey, I'm proud of what we got done in these areas". The fact is he didn't say he was the 4th best President in the world, you (or whoever you're repeating this message from) just made that up.

By comparison, all you've done is take credit for other people's work (did you actually make the video, or are you just passing along the work of another?). And worse, the stuff you're passing along is just false. It does nothing to help the debate, it will convince NOBODY of anything. People who like it -- just like you -- already made their mind up. They have no interest in actually solving problems, they just vomit crap like this around the internet in an attempt to both feel smarter, and get their hands back on the frickin remote control.

Ending the Iraq war.
If GW can get reelected for starting the war, then Obama should have no trouble getting reelected for ending it.

The surge in the Iraq war is what sealed the deal, Bush's call, which was widely criticized at the time.

WMD's was the primary season for the invasion, and we all know how that turned out.

I think the Iraq people would say that Saddam and his Sons were weapons of mass destruction. Now it's up to them to keep a democracy, I'm not holding my breath.

The war was sold to the American people as a means to stop WMD's not people.
Given America's track record for supporting oppressive regimes, I hardly could agree that over throwing the Iraq government served any purpose other than trying to save face for a ill advise invasion.

In spite of everyone trying to take credit for it, "The Surge" didn't do schit...it was an abject failure.

The entire reason given for "The Surge" was to create space for a political solution to the war...all it did was ramp up the fighting, a bunch of people died, "The Surge" ended, and nothing had changed politically at all.

Just as with the rest of the war The Surge was a waste of money and lives.

It did, however, allow a bunch of politicos from both sides to claim that it was successful, and their idea...
