So you went fishing with my new hero, Dave
Did you tell him he is a topic on the BB?
I'd like to talk fish stuff with him one day. Sounds like he has got some skill and lake info. I need lots of info on cool and cold water fishing.

Maybe, if they ever get my lake's boat ramp built I'll meet up with you. I will be the one driving the big yellow bus, that is the school bus. Picking everone up for some, on the water schooling. beer

I fished with Dave yesterday. Had a great day on the water (fishing-wise, not catching-wise). We started around 7:30, water temp ranged from 56 to 58 degrees. Most of the fish came first thing in the morning on a white spinner in 3 ft of water in one of the channels.

What's your lake?

Loc: Tacoma Wa,
The wet stump field know as Kapowsin, or dumb ars lake, or dead man's lake. I have forgotten how many have died there this year. I think it's up to four? help
I like it because I only have a trolling motor. It's small enough for me to get around.
With the public boat launch closed for the last few years. I was expecting it to be a trophy lake, but it has not done as well as I thought it would. Never the less there is a new state record swimming around out there. eek If you get tired of fishing for the big one you can always catch a boat load of small to medium fish. A very non tipical western washington lake.

As far as I know. Didn't keep any the day I was with him and I don't recall his mentioning ever keeping any. The way he knows Silver lake he probably has names for all those bass. smile

How does he slay them year around?
Seriously the size he catches the bass is ridiculous...I'd say he knows what he's doing. Mike sounds like you got quite an opportunity to fish with him...
