squirrel hunting always seemed like it'd be a lot of fun and challenge. too bad you never see the eastern grays(the only kind that's legal to hunt on the westside) outside city limits. Shirley, pellet and BB guns are legal in most western Washington cities? I've noticed an abundance of gray squirrels in Coeur d'Alene but not in my town. I suspect the reason for this is that it's legal so shoot pellet guns in town. Thanks to this law I wiped out all of the breeding starlings near my house with my adult precision air rifle.

Although the North American Opossum is not commonly kept as pet, a growing number of people are fascinated by and dedicated to this unique animal. Opossums are wonderful pets when provided with a good home environment and proper care. They cuddle on the sofa with you, snuggle under the blankets in your bed, and greet you at the door when you come home from work.Who knew ? I was just trying to find a good pre-slaughter 'possum diet

I had been looking for an excuse to pick up a Marlin 39A (lever action .22) since I left one from my childhood behind many years ago. Lots of fond memories of varmint eradication linked to that gun. Made a pretty decent income a high schooler killing raccoons with the help of the 39A and a couple of Walker's.
Last summer we had a squirrel infestation problem in and around our place. It was just the excuse I needed to finally buy a new 39A. Man I love that gun. Funny, no more squirrel problems either. I didn't eat them, but they did go into the compost pile, which counts for at least one or two green points right? Ate a few when I was younger. Tasted like meat.
