This graphite baitcaster was made in 1978/79 it is unfished.

Specs. 8' 3" rated for 6-17 lb. line. Lure weight 1/4-5/8 oz. Blank is a translucent gloss chestnut brown

Comes w/ factory aluminum tube & rod sock, sales receipt from 4/29/1980. Has a blank warranty card too........... lol.

That was the rod, back in the day for macs squid plugs and beardsly on crecent. could see everything that plug was doing. have several sitting on the rack.

Redd no trigger on this one, shes a baitcaster though. I was flexing this stick & it has a extra-fast action, its built to fish like a bait-diver or plug rod. Its a 2 pc not a 1 like some of them.

Nice dark brown anodized aluminum threads & double lock rings to the front hood, then cork, 3/4 of the reel will sit on cork with a aluminum slot for the back tang of the reel to slip into. Kinds like a Weibe w/o the big lock-down ring.


Looks like a solid set up.
