Looking for good topo maps (recent if possible) of Long Lake, or properly called Lake Spokane in Eastern Washington. Would like to have a few different ones or someone who can refer me to a company or person who might have them? Thanks for your help. Avid bass fisherman wants to travel there and do some bass fishing...

If you're close to Spokane there is a map store on the corner of Howard and Sprague. I would check that.

When I lived in Spokane, I searched everywhere for a map that showed lake contours of Long. I finally found one done by Washington Water Power; however,it was very difficult to obtain as it wasn't something available to the public. I can't say if that has changed or not.

You will be able to find contour maps of the area that include Long Lake, but those (to my knowledge) don't show subsurface features.

The good news is that it's a fairly easy lake to read if you're good with a C-rig or heavy football jig.


You might check a copy of Lakes of Washington to see if there is something there.
