So Sorry Chuck that I don't share your sense of humor. Down in my neck of the woods, the big story is Ranger Anderson. A fine young woman and young mother dead because some jackwagon decided to let guns do his talking.

I am real clear who killed Ranger Anderson. It was a whack job with a gun. One might reasonably ask how someone with a restraining order was able to keep his guns, but I also know that criminals can get guns whenever they want. Alcohol, insanity, and drugs with guns make a very bad combination.

That's always gonna' be a problem with no solution short of over-turning the 2nd Amendment. I don't know anyone who wants felons or crazies to have guns. But Barnes wasn't a felon. A restraining order against him doesn't make him a criminal or a felon. The problem of sane people who are law abiding and buy guns and later become mentally impaired or commit crimes will be around forever.

Sort of like the Navy Seal who shot himself in the head after drinking and trying to impress a girl. Who's more qualified to possess and handle a weapon? Yet there's no cure for stupid.

Ultimately, we cannot make the world safe.
