It seems that the WDFW has brought in some Musky fry. These are pure Musky not Tigers. They are being held in the Columbia Basin Hatchery on Crab creek. The WDFW has been raising Tigers at this facility in the past.Last year there where Tigers caught in the Moses lake Walleye tournament. If any or heaven forbid all of these Musky fry where to escape, just think what would happen.

It would be cool to have a true Musky to fight. The Tigers give up too fast. I've caught a 36" tiger on ultralight gear 4 lb test and was able to net it.
Is that the hatchery at Moses Lake or Ringold?

If what you say is true, you may want to watch for a puzzling need to rotenone some lakes in the not so distant future because of the introduction of an invasive species from an unknown origin.

Have seen that locally because of the introduction of pike in a lake now used for WDFW's own rearing pond. It used to be a public fishing lake.

Both pike and musky are required to create the tiger which is sterile and is used commonly to control lakes overpopulated with rough fish. And the State, of course, is the only entity that is allowed to have either. You do the math.

I found out that the Muskies at the Columbia Basin Hatchery are going to Spokane County.
