Whats the point of the law suit. What good will the money do the tribe. Will the stores be forced to close. Will some of the money end up buying new cars so drunks can drive long distances on public roads to get to a new sorce.

The rez don't work.

I don't think it is.

Yes, I have first hand experience with alcoholism and diabetes. And the fact remains, if you're an alcoholic or a diabetic, the only person that's going to keep you alive is you.

You try keeping your blood sugars in control for 40 f'n years with the constant temptation to eat something you shouldn't and shave time off your life.

Everyone likes to believe their struggles are more difficult than the other guys' struggles.

Dan speaks from the place of having taken personal responsibility for his health. I along with many here have witnessed Dan testing his blood and injecting himself.

+1...except my "good time being around drinkers" ends when they are drunk and stupid.

I hope you can still enjoy mantown in Craig this summer.

I'll enjoy the hell out of it. It's always fun to see folks let it loose once their inhibitions are loosened by strong drink...to a point.

The difference for me now is I can walk away, rather than be a participant, when things get out of hand. I've got too many bar scars to want more. wink

You will also be fresh as a daisy in the morning, while others may be slightly wilted.
