I'm not as big of a tv sports watcher as I used to be but the college b-ball tournements always have me glued to the tube. I got so frustrated with my bracket choices, I haven't filled them out for almost 10 years. I used to study the player's stats, team records, their opponents records etc. etc. and the results seemed to be the same if I just blindly picked them. So, now I just watch the games, root for any local team and enjoy the fact most of the players leave everything they have on the floor as they know, that for most of them, this the end of their playing days.
Should be some good games coming up. Good luck to who ever still has a chance in any pool.

Right now I'm still tied for first in my bracket pool. MSU really hurt me by not getting into the final 4. I need Syracuse to beat OSU and Kentucky to win it all (or at least not UNC). If those two games hit, then I'll be a new rod & reel richer. Tonight is key...C'mon Cuse'!!!!

Done - finished. So sad. One game away from a new rod and reel and now nothing. Damn you OSU. Hey Cuse' - might want to practice your layups and free throws in the off season. You know - the little things. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-2 yesterday and leading both pools that I'm in. I had 'Cuse losing to K State so now that's behind me I'm looking good go 4-4 in the final 4. I need Kansas to beat UNC though and they'll have to play better to do it. If Baylor doesn't pull off an upset I'm golden.

It's NIT game time on ESPN2. First of the semis has Stanford leading UMass late in the first half. Washington vs Minnesota will follow at 6:00. Vegas oddsmakers are picking Washington to win it all. Go Dawgs!

What happened in the first 2 min?

Damn refs!

The Husky shot selection left something to be desired. To me it seemed like they do too much 1 on 1 and settling for outside jump shots. That's okay when your making them but when you shoot 35% FG for the game, you got to try something else.

It also seemed like they lacked motivation and hustle. There should have been plenty of incentive, knowing it would have been a Pac 12 championship game but they failed to execute when it mattered. That and knowing that the Cougars won it all at their tourney, as well as Western. Yeah, it could have been kinda cool to have three WA BB teams win their tournaments but they didn't capitalize when they had to.

It seems like there is a lot of smack talk about Wroten and the NBA. I got to say that needs to stop right now and he needs to learn to play a lot better and a lot smarter. Maybe in the future but he has a long way to go, like not fouling a 92% free throw shooter twice at the end of the game when your down. That and throwing up shots behind your back and shooting air balls.

Of course some of my thoughts are based on only seeing a couple of games all year so maybe I'm all wrong.

Still it was entertaining to watch. I can't believe they dragged it into OT.

Congratulations on "your" win. Hope you remembered to thank the Huskies for softening up Minnesota and making todays blowout game possible. Tuesday's grueling overtime game left the Gophers so spent that even the Cougars could have defeated them...

Maybe Minn. would've made a game of it.....if the ref's would've done their JOB in the closing seconds against UW.

Congrats to Stanford. And hopefully my Cougs will wrap things up back east.
