Who is going to win it all? Who will make some noise and who will dissapoint?

I have Kentucky overtaking UNC in the final. FSU is my bracket buster and I have them going to the Final Four. After day #1, I'm 16-0 with my pics and hoping to keep it going on day 2. Still a long ways to go, but I'm liking things so far...

Watched Gonzaga undo West Va. last night. A low stress game for a
change. Now they get Ohio and I suspect that will be a tough one.
Hope they survive to be sweet.

That Gonzaga game last night was hard to believe...as a Gonzaga alum, I'm a fan automatically, but I thought they were a bit soft this year...they sure didn't look it last night. If they play that well a couple of more times they've got a run to make this year...

A lot of people are riding UK to the final. I am looking for a couple upsets and I like Louisville/ Ohio State final.

I'm out on a limb but I wanted to go against the grain a bit.

This has been a frustrating year in Zag land for me. They got a guy,
Sacre, that is 7 ft up and knows how to play and yet, he way to
often, underachieves. Last night when that Turk out did him for
the tip off I thought Oh chit here we go again. Turned out ok tho.
Sacre has the skills and strength to be an awesome player, he just
need someone to figured out how to poke his go button.

I am now 17-24. If anyone had Norfolk that was a hellva upset

Damn you Mizzou! Nobody outside of homer Norfolk alumni had them picked, so 99.9% tanked that game. The only question is how far did everyone take Mizzou? I had them into the Elite Eight and losing to MSU. That will leave a mark. The best playing team out of that division is Marquette. That Crowder guy (aka "Predator") is a pure beast. But I can't pick against Izzo and Sparty (my alma mater) - to0 much tourney experience to get rattled by a space alien...

Damn you Mizzou! Florida can also suck it. Lost 3 games total now, but still at a 99.6% winning percentage and leading my pool by a mile. We'll see....

Well crap. Slipped a bit today with all of the upsets. I still have the best shot in my pool to win it all, but some of my outside pics are going to have to hit. FSU taking the East etc...

Damn Duke and Mizzou....grrr...

27-8 right now. I lost 3 of my sweet 16 teams but I'm looking good for a chance to win a couple pools. I had Florida over Mizzou. So that o e didn't hurt too bad. I had Baylor upsetting Duke in the sweet 16.

I picked K State over Syracuse so that did hurt a bit.

Colorado's playing Baylor tough.

Woohoo! Another undefeated day @ 8 - 0. Now at 99.1% winning percentage for the tourney. Thanks for pulling it out of your rear Hoosiers! WHEW! Headed off to buy a lottery ticket and then onto Vegas. Sorry about the Zags for the locals...you can blame it on me.

UW plays the winner of Middle Tennessee vs Minnesota. They play tomorrow.

Minnesota defeated Middle Tennessee earlier this evening. They will be the Huskies next oppponent. Stanford is handing Nevada it's azz wih under eight minutes to go in their game. Be great to see a UW vs Stanford NIT final.

Cougs make it to the final for the best of three versus Pitt. Good luck next year Beavs!

I've been following the NIT and watched the Oregon Washington game last night. Should be a good game between Minnesota and Washington.

I still have 3 teams in the sweet sixteen.

I'm not as big of a tv sports watcher as I used to be but the college b-ball tournements always have me glued to the tube. I got so frustrated with my bracket choices, I haven't filled them out for almost 10 years. I used to study the player's stats, team records, their opponents records etc. etc. and the results seemed to be the same if I just blindly picked them. So, now I just watch the games, root for any local team and enjoy the fact most of the players leave everything they have on the floor as they know, that for most of them, this the end of their playing days.
Should be some good games coming up. Good luck to who ever still has a chance in any pool.

Right now I'm still tied for first in my bracket pool. MSU really hurt me by not getting into the final 4. I need Syracuse to beat OSU and Kentucky to win it all (or at least not UNC). If those two games hit, then I'll be a new rod & reel richer. Tonight is key...C'mon Cuse'!!!!

Done - finished. So sad. One game away from a new rod and reel and now nothing. Damn you OSU. Hey Cuse' - might want to practice your layups and free throws in the off season. You know - the little things. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-2 yesterday and leading both pools that I'm in. I had 'Cuse losing to K State so now that's behind me I'm looking good go 4-4 in the final 4. I need Kansas to beat UNC though and they'll have to play better to do it. If Baylor doesn't pull off an upset I'm golden.

It's NIT game time on ESPN2. First of the semis has Stanford leading UMass late in the first half. Washington vs Minnesota will follow at 6:00. Vegas oddsmakers are picking Washington to win it all. Go Dawgs!

What happened in the first 2 min?

The Husky shot selection left something to be desired. To me it seemed like they do too much 1 on 1 and settling for outside jump shots. That's okay when your making them but when you shoot 35% FG for the game, you got to try something else.

It also seemed like they lacked motivation and hustle. There should have been plenty of incentive, knowing it would have been a Pac 12 championship game but they failed to execute when it mattered. That and knowing that the Cougars won it all at their tourney, as well as Western. Yeah, it could have been kinda cool to have three WA BB teams win their tournaments but they didn't capitalize when they had to.

It seems like there is a lot of smack talk about Wroten and the NBA. I got to say that needs to stop right now and he needs to learn to play a lot better and a lot smarter. Maybe in the future but he has a long way to go, like not fouling a 92% free throw shooter twice at the end of the game when your down. That and throwing up shots behind your back and shooting air balls.

Of course some of my thoughts are based on only seeing a couple of games all year so maybe I'm all wrong.

Still it was entertaining to watch. I can't believe they dragged it into OT.

Congratulations on "your" win. Hope you remembered to thank the Huskies for softening up Minnesota and making todays blowout game possible. Tuesday's grueling overtime game left the Gophers so spent that even the Cougars could have defeated them...

Maybe Minn. would've made a game of it.....if the ref's would've done their JOB in the closing seconds against UW.

Congrats to Stanford. And hopefully my Cougs will wrap things up back east.
