I am a Pastor in Tacoma (hint my user name) and we are putting on for the first time a Sportsman's Banquet. I have some excellent fishing guides (Rich Mercado & Russ Wyman of Rich's NW Guide service) coming and we will have some displays and clinics...

But for all of you bowhunters, our special guest is "Larry Jones". If you are into bowhunting then you have seen one of his many videos. Not only is he a great bowhunter, but he is also an awesome outdoorsman, not to mention a devoted Christian. Date: Saturday November 9th Cooked Salmon & Elk Chili... Feed starts at 5pm... come a little early if you want to mingle, share pictures and/or do what sportsman do... talk a good story. Doors open at 3pm.

This is going to be really cool... and we hope to build it every year to make it a NW main event. Let me know your thoughts and any good ideas you might have.

Hey Padre have you ever been to deep lake? I met a pastor there once who I think was either from Sea-Tac or Tacoma or something... Just wondering if its you.
