Looks like Obama is more concerned about gays marrying than he is about a budget. Even his own side rejects his budget again. May 16, 2012 5:17 pm House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan’s (R., Wis.) proposals to solve the country’s debt and deficit crisis continue to be far more popular with elected officials than those put forward by President Obama. http://freebeacon.com/544-0/The Democratic-led Senate on Wednesday unanimously rejected the president’s fiscal year 2013 budget by final vote of 99-0. Sen. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.), who has been recovering from a stroke, did not vote; it is presumed he would have voted no. The Senate last year voted down the president’s budget 97-0. Not a single federal lawmaker has voted in favor of Obama’s budget proposals over the past two years. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office recently concluded that the president’s budget, if enacted, would have a negative impact on long-term economic growth.

No chit Chuck...but it'll get him the homo vote. Since homeboy is on the down-low it may help him feel more comfortable around John Travolta or Arsenio Hall.
He's our first gay president.

O has accomplished nothing during his 4 year free ride and the country will make a change in November. You sure about that?

It would be a shame if a Republican came in and did a better job.

O has done a good job as far as directing our forces to take out many high value targets. I am way more impressed with his actions than many previous presidents. He's getting crap taken care of on that front.
Elsewhere, not so much.
Give credit when due.

I'd like to know where the criticism for this do-nothing congress is. Last time I checked, it was up to congress to make things happen and then the prez sign it into law.
What am I missing here?
you're missing that obama is socialist, muslim, black, and now a gay president. it's a neocon, homophobe's wet dream of an adversary... just too bad their adversary doesn't exist in reality. it sure is fun seeing all the posts from locked closets in this thread though.

Congress is ridiculous. They yap about all our debt yet don't miss a blink of sleep to give themselves raises, take private jets whenever they travel, put their kids through college on taxes dollars, and above al not do their appointed jobs. I honestly feel a majority of the people in Congress have a sense of entitlement and feel that they will always be there as the incumbents. It got shaken up a little bit but over all I do not see people willing to branch out and make decisions that need to be made. They are more about appeasing their supporters opposed to what is best for the Nation.
You forgot Obama isn't American either.

When you are a RWWJ you leave out little tid bits like the fact that the R alternatives were soundly rejected as well.
It's just the usual political crap out of DC ceased on by mental midgets.
"Senate rejects Obama budget, Republican alternatives'
"as Republicans forced votes on the competing budget plans to highlight Democrats’ failure to advance a formal budget resolution.
The Senate has failed to adopt a formal budget resolution, laying out spending and revenue targets for the coming year, for three years.
Democrats say the exercise is unnecessary this year because Democrats and Republicans wrote spending caps for the year into law in the hard-fought summer deal that raised the nation’s debt ceiling.
Republicans counter that the debt deal does not replace a legal requirement that Congress adopt a budget resolution for the year."
"Obama’s budget envisioned raising taxes on those making more than $250,000 and lowering the deficit over time, in part by capping agency spending.
But it did not lay out a date when the budget would be in balance and it also included $350 million in new stimulus dollars to help states hire teachers, police officer and lure jobs from overseas.
But Democrats said that Republicans were staging show votes as a political exercise and that the inability to agree to a budget deal stems from Republican refusal to consider higher taxes for the wealthy alongside deep spending cuts.
Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) accused Republicans of developing a “case of amnesia,” forgetting the legally binding budget deal brokered last summer as they claim the Senate has no budget.
“Republicans aren’t interested in getting anything done this year – they’re more interested in trying to defeat President Obama. So they don’t mind wasting a day of the Senate’s time on useless political show votes,” he said."

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.
