Archery season is about a month out.
It's a great time to be alive...

Thank god huntin season doesn't open that early up here. Between that and fishin How would ya ever have time to work.

July season? how long is it. I am dying to break out a weapon......

California isn't weapon specific, so you can hunt all of the archery season from July to August then pick up your rifle and rifle hunt until late September, we get two buck tags too.
These bucks are way ahead of the national curve.
They are hard horned by August 1st and they start to rut by late September.
I'm usually well tuned up for out of state hunts after climbing hills and glassing for the better part of three months at the end of September.
