Here is my latest project, Mom & Dad's house. Switched tones completely Body of the house went darker, trim went lighter. I do hate painting gingerpread houses, but it went pretty quickly.

Scrubbed it down last Sunday. Taped and prepped yesterday AM and had the first body coat on by 2pm. Finished body around 8pm last night. Started trim this morning, and had a beer around 8pm tonight to celebrate being done.

Thanks for the post.

Been consumed the last two weeks on our hot tub deck. Just about finished re-leveling, re-screwing, and sanding my deck. Sanding is a pain. I used a planer, belt sander, hand sanding, and profile sander. Had to replace a few boards. Cedar weathers in our climate. Hopefully I can get it stained this week and the hot tub pump to work correctly. Then I'll post some pics.

Today's progress.

Masking in place.

Just started.

Fairly well into the back deck.

First coat is done on the back deck. Learned a few tricks.

Light, not heavy pressure on the roller, gives better coverage over a larger area, with minimal product going between the gaps.

I am getting the exact same texture I saw in the store using their roller, and I am covering more ground than using standard paint roller.

Liking the product so far. Application rate is better than advertised..

Done with the back deck. Finished it last night around midnight, but didn't get a chance to see it dry until this evening.

Finish is consistent.

Covers board seams pretty well.

5/4 cedar. 720 SF and I used roughly 24 gallons of product. At my cost, the back deck refinish was about $360, not including my time.
