so here is part 2 of the "great" saga....

my fvckin dog cant get up, or really use his hind legs at all... he was walking kinda funny just a bit ago after we got home, went to feed him, and he is just sitting on his rear with his legs pointed straight out, and cant get up... hes just hangin his toungue out, sitting there, we lifted him up and brought him inside, carrying his rear, and now hes in my room.... he laying down like normal, and doesnt seem to be hurting, he hasnt yelped or made one wimper at all.... he just cant walk... its like a cramp or dislocated hip or something.... i guess one of our German Shepards did this and "walked it off" after a bit, but it wasnt long before it had to be put down due to Hip Displaysia....

now, i have no fvcking money to do much of anything... so im going to have to see whats going on by morning, and take him to the new vet...

BTW, that vet that i took Kitters too last, sent us a card, and their sympathies.... nothing from the vet we paid all that money too, not even a phone call....

this is too much for me to deal with... i must have done some bad
sh!t in my life that i dont remember to deserve what im being handed the last 8 years of my life.... seriously, why?

he will be going first thing in the morning... hes is ok right now, just cant walk....

he ate, probably gonna piss on my bed, since he is laying on it now, but i dont give a sh!t i will buy another bed, hes comfortable, toungue hangin out, lickin me, being the same old dog... no cries, no wimpers, nothing...

but, i have run myself into serious stress... i decided to open up a couple of my dads dog books, alot of stuff i know, that he taught me, but some, i didnt...

Tye is 14 years old, average age for all breeds is 12-13 years, i have been taught that mutts live longer than purebreds, as most of our dogs were, i think the longest one we had was 16 years tho...

so yeah, we are all arguing again, open the bedroom door, and the damn dog is standing up on the bed... comes out, gets some water, goes to the door and his azz gives out again, but he is out in the yard right now with my GF walking him on the leash.... have to let him piss tonight atleast, then he can come in...

seems likely a disk issue, but if not treated soon it could result in paraylisis, so tommorow it is.... hes walking cockeyed, but straight, he just came in and drank a bunch of water, layed down, being same old Tye but fvcked up...

ill take him in tommorow... i told yall this dog is tough as sh!t....

Damn RH.....I hope there is a quick easy fix for you.....you're due.

We had a husky that had cancer. They could've removed it but because of her age and the intensiveness of it the vet recommended to have her put down. Tough to think about that but sometimes you gotta choose between your feelings or pain for the rest of their life

hes not better SD... something is wrong, what it is, i dont know.. cramp, hip, disc, i dont know... i have my grandfathers anatomy of dogs book, my dads sh!t, ect.... but im still not a vet, i have however dealt with dogs much more than cats, with Kitters, i know now, he was likely in pain the last day... and i feel like sh!t because of that... he died in my living room for christ sake, 5 minutes after he meowed at me before we got his medicine ready....


Tye isnt hurting , RIGHT NOW, hes being the same old bonehead he always has been, but hes walking stiffly, and when he came back in from pissin, he was what they call "dog legging", where his [Bleeeeep!] end is off to one side, while they are walking... he was walking straight tho, and like i said, no pain, that he is showing....

he might be OK for now, but, knowing my luck, he wont live another week... i sure hope im wrong....

You have a 14 year old dog. My advice is to enjoy what time you have with him and don't dump a bunch of money on keeping him going for what would be a low quality of life.

Tye is doing better, we didnt need to take him in today, because he has been walking around... he can stay with me, and i can take him out to do his business, not a big deal... there is 7 stairs or so in the back, and 3 in the front, 3 is much less for him, so i will change tactics to help my old mutt out.....

he probably wont make it another year, but, just like always, he can have whatever he wants, and i will do whatever it is that he wants...
