im not whining, im telling people that want to talk crap to shut that hot air leak under their noses....
DONT fish the Puyallup, i really dont give a sh!t...
also, i will just throw this in cuz im an a$$hole... the Puyallup was once the number 2 river in the state for steelhead... i highly doubt that the coloring just started 10 years ago... i mean, how long has the glacier on Mount Rainier been there? it surely cant be 50 years old...

The water when steelheading in March isn't exactly the same as when salmon fishing in August.

The Puyallup isn't always that color, and when it was the #2 river in the state, you wouldn't have been fishing for steelhead in it this time of year.

like i said, i was being an a$$hole, i know the river isnt like that, this isnt the first time ive fished it... going on 7 years now with 100+ days a year on that river alone....
like i said twice before, the freezing level needs to be at 8k feet or below, it will clear up in 2 days.... its also not "mud", nor dirt, its glacial silt, and coming high up off a volcanoe, such as Mt Rainier, it will happen with each melt off of the snow...
i dont think the negativity comes from the color, i think its the idiots that screw everything up for the people that do it correctly... i could be wrong, again, but i doubt it on this one...
BTW where i was at, the viz was about 5 inches today, near shore... wit this next heat this weekend, i may get worse, but i doubt it, typical Puyallup water in August....
getting out into sheet rock dust colored water is still better than sitting on the internet argueing about flossing... i fvckin hate that word...

you posted the 1243, YOU Jason B, then Supertrout which he has now changed, said "3 comes before 4", then, "Dungy Bin Laden" accidentally quotes the post that Supertrout responded to, saying "I posted it that way because thats the way redhook would count" ( not exact, but what was said)..

center of the river will get you squat, fishing down there will get you a ticket... it doesnt open till the 16th...
im waaaay higher than that, when i left yesterday, for 400 yards of beach, there was 5 people including myself... may head down for a couple hours here in a little while, not sure yet.... same game as usual, eggs eggs and more eggs...

Business took me to Fife today. The Puy vis looks awesome. Jig and bobber will definately get it done. Cast to the center of the river homos.  Killer possum habitat right there.
