Saw the lobster lady releasing lobsters(30 or so) again this morning at Mukilteo. Tried talking to her but she was heavy into what she was doing-- her daughter couldn't get her to stop. Took a picture of her and her license plate and sent them to Sgt. Kim at WDFW. She placed a couple of white cardboard boxes by the garbage. I have seen the same kind of boxes stacked there on numerous occasions. Most of the writing was oriental in nature, the english on the one box said cuttlefish balls and on the other box was codfish balls. I think the boxes are from the store and used to transport the plastic bags of lobsters. Maybe from 99 Ranch Market.

No doubt in 10 or so years the Tulalips of Muckleshoots will be claiming Lobster as "usual and accustomed"....

Someone needs to set some pots and bring those things to the B10 potluck...

I hope they set up a sting and catch her in the act of doing it..not to say that those suckers would take hold, or even live but thats not the point...if she is doin it with lobsters what ELSE could she be releasing back into OUR wild...maybe things that can start to take hold....I seem to remember a seafood/fish operator up here in Puget sound just got busted for sellin the out of area crawfish (spiny crawfish i believe being the ones we are REALLY worried about).. if they were here for sale I wouldnt be surprised by some peta nazi buying and releasing them....Oh bucket biologists what would we do without you??

Where did Jerry Garcia say that she was Asian? All he said was that the lobsters were likely packed in the boxes obtained from the Asian store (Ranch 99).

My wife being Asian, I would be flabbergasted if there was an Asian woman voluntarily releasing expensive delicious lobsters into the Sound... That's like a policeman giving away free donuts because he doesn't like to eat them.

The first post I made on this about a month ago I believe I said she was Asian. From what I have heard it is a Buddist thing to save the critters and let them go, builds up good Karma.

Not sure how that fits into the whole Karma deal, but call me when it is time for dinner.

WDFW called this morning and thanked me for the pictures and said they had gone to the ladies house twice yesterday but no one home, but would still be trying to contact her.
