I floated the Bogey a couple of weeks ago. I was buzzed a few times by a couple of "Prowlers" out of Whidbey. Recon????? Hmm.....

I saw Puff a few times in Viet Nam. First the tracers in a wavering red lightening bolt - then the roar of the firing rounds. The first time I was on the bridge wing of my ship (USS Carronade IFS-1) on our way to answer a firing support request from a Marine unit and Puff beat us there. We'd heard of Puff but had never seen it. It was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.
