21 WA Legislators sent a letter to the WDFW Commission yesterday. Once a link is published somewhere, you'll be able to read it.

Really does it go like this, CCA's ballot measure is toast please save our asses.

Never said anything wasn't documented but don't know of any other fisheries on the west coast where whites can't sell it but tribes can.

HSRG is an old document now, you have the Elwha and White Salmon running free there's 1000's of acres of habitat being opened up in the lower river. Selective fishing and habitat and hatchery reform aren't going to compliment each other but I don't have the 400 hours to spare to try and explain why to you.

It's all about harvest method. CR reform needs to happen. Gill net sales need to be documented. Not some eazy we keep the first of the season . cRa*

Do you really think that it will take 400 hours to explain why selective fishing and habitat and hatchery reform aren't going to say nice things about one another?

That was just for Aunty but there is a thread on Ifish where the mark rates of the selective fishing test were just posted. Those aren't even close to the rates we were fishing on when HSRG was put together, late coho was 85% + not so feasible anymore.

Day after election and how do all the CCA members feel?

Cheated? rofl

Good news is we'll have decent hatchery fishing a few more years!

Had they not used the word "ban" on the voters card, heck it might have passed....

All those Oregon Lemmings seen the word "ban" and just voted no!

Well I've never lost one either but had a few run over on purpose though, someones expensive lower unit didn't sound so great after one episode. It's just turned in to a religious war nothing else, no data to back up the claims. Oregon Voters can read or listen to the news that runs are increasing to levels that haven't been seen since the dams were built and then a group trys to float a ballot measure claiming just the opposite. Don't know what to tell you other than I'll keep backing the Tribes and Columbia Riverkeeper. Glad to hear your pot measure passed so the night wasn't a total loss for you.

Anybody know what the numbers were? I read stories that said the measure failed, but I haven't been able to find the numbers. Just curious.

Interesting that not one county wanted to ban 'em.
