Does anyone know if the upper Queets road has been repaired and reopened? Going fishing on Sunday and I will give a first hand report on the road and river if possible. Thanks in advance.

road is still closed. We don't need a fishing report. It will turn out like the Wynoochee, no place to fish because all the reports brings just to many people. Give them a report about Gig Harbor so you can have the people there.

Hey FP, you don't have to be so rude, you should know that a real Steelheader isn't going to give a report like "Fishing was hot on the Queets" do you. It would just be nice and quite within the rules of fishing and boaters etiquette to let others know about such things as new dangerous sweepers or washed out roads. It saves a lot of early morning fishing time to know that you can fish as planned.
Are you really a guide or just one of those "Wanna Be Guides" with no other job or values? By the way, we have great fishing in Gig Harbor and we welcome others to our area, we cannot all be so selfish to think that local waters belong to certain groups or individuals.
I hope you are putting your money where your mouth is and are actively securing signatures for the "Ban" initiative. I can!
I apologize to others on this board, but as you can see...I use my real name and can be reached at anytime.
Come on FP, join the rest of us in the Human race.

Well said Steve. Hope you get all the information you need to maximize your time on the river of your choice.

Happy fishing!

Steve-
where are you a chef at? I would be interested in contributing to the well being of others in the fishing community. You can post it here or email me at WIT45CAL@AOL.com

Steve, I used the gravel road below the Clearwater road (forget the name of it, there's a campground on it). I got up to the second ramp - the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife ramp and fished down from there. Caught a couple of steelhead. By the way, FP is out of line!
