Bishop Sankey is a machine Fumbling machine? He's been a phenom considering he was third string at the start of the season. Lost three starting OL's before the season started then the first string RB game one.

He was better last year. Had a better OL, running back and receivers. Still beat the trees though.

Just some post game observations.
Dawgs need another receiver badly. Mickens failed to get it done this year.
Short kick-offs, wtf. Every kicker worth his salt can get it in the end zone for a touchback. If the coaches are calling for that with 4 minutes left in the game they seriously need to rethink their strategy.
Officiating....if in doubt and a group of you can't figure out if the receiver is out of bounds the play should be reviewed. Also, bring out the sticks and measure on any fourth and short play that is close.

I agree. the next couple of years will determine where this program is really headed. hell look at leach over on the other side. he is in the similar boat as sark was 4 years ago. you have to get talent to build on and that doesnt happen over night. besides ... we beat stanford and the beavs  Just like when Petey came aboard, they had no talent and no size, Him and Schneider have turned this franchise around nicely.

I'm a lot less pissed today than I was at last year's bowl game. UW needs to get better protection for their QB and get more pressure on D to the opposing QB. I always think Price should be a better scrambler/runner than he but he's way too pressured by the opposing D.Hard to make good reads and throws when you are scrambling for your life. They have some work to do but their overall D went from 106 to 30 in the nation or something like that, which is a huge improvement. Saying that, they played respectable against a good, solid program with a good coach.
Why they didn't measure that 4th down play is beyond me. If it is within a few inches either way, and the game on the line, you gotta get an official measurement.
Congrats to Bishop and a great game. Dude is a mad man.
Next year I hope Price plays more like last year and less like this year. I would have liked to seen this year's defense with last year's offense with Polk and Sankey running out of the same backfield.
This year's Apple Cup is still a better pill to swallow, still I'd rather be a Husky and go to a bowl and lose than be a Cougar fan. Still, I want the Cougars to win whenever they play anybody but UW. But I don't take it to heart cause if so, I'd be disappointed a lot. About sums it up for this Husky (wish Polk would of stayed).....

try winning more than 1 game then come back and talk your crap. Cougs won two non-conference games in a row including one in Vegas and one against a team with a colored football field. Fact is both WSU and UW kinda suck.

This tread is about the Huskies chuckles, and they suck and will continue to suck until the alumni quit accepting the Las Vegas bowl as a success . They have spent as much as the better programs in the US and are getting less. The excuses keep rolling in , it's only been 4 years blah blah blah blah .
