Bob....I am coming over for a trip this weekend and am a little concerned over the water color. We wont be rolling in until dark so we wont be able to see what everything looks like. The water color in your pics looks good. Are you fishing above the slide on the duc. Is the upper Bogey ok?..Also, I have never done the Calawah...what is the best drift to do?

Thanks for your help

I'm sure Bob will tell you this, but beware of floating the Calawah. Supposed to be real nasty in some spots. Good luck!

Well, they might not have died, but I can remember lots of boats that the river has claimed ... it is not only about being pretty good on the oars, but knowing which way to go ... perhaps the name "Sucker Rapids" will explain this. There are only two floats ... from the Forks to 101 and from 101 to Wilson's on the Bogachiel.

As to the water color ... upper Bogey was out this afternoon ... 'Duc was Okay, but changes rapidly, without any predictability at all ... the slide is well above the fishing deadline. Have fun ...
