Another [Bleeeeep!] penalty, repeated multiple times today in other games.
Some people may call it senseless, but I'll call it it a great hit.
Legal all the way and no flag should have been thrown.

It must be. It will be interesting to see if he gets fined.
You make a legal hit and draw a penalty and a possible fine, I'd say that would be frustrating to say the least.
The NFL has killed the big hit.

I'm going to take a different tack. Davis left the game with a concussion and if you look at the replay you will note that he did not get a concussion from hitting his head on the field. The game has changed and will continue to change. Players risking their lives (long-term) for our entertainment reminds me a lot of the Christians vs. the Lions. Wrong then, wrong now.

As wet as it was,I wonder if it was keeping him from really launching the ball.

Goldson was fined $21K for a hit on Hernandez that wasn't as bad.
It's the "defenseless receiver" rule; the receiver has to have control of the ball and be established before you can hit him.
It sucks. Goldson's crown got Hernadez on the chin, that is why he got penalized and fined.

You much not know much about football. Chancillor never contacted the head. Drinking early this morning? Your first statement is a little hard to decipher. How did Davis get a concussion then? Last I heard, you must get contacted in the head to get a concussion.
