I like how the shoes give the photo symmetry and balance... I know some folks that have been known to frame their photos with fall colored leaves and wet stones, but I really like how you've done it with poorly painted doors, dandelions, garbage bags, shoes and concrete pavers! well done sir...

Those S-glass rods are slick. I still flail one around every now and then, for the random task events.

very nice I have an old s-glass fly rod that I broke an inch or two of the butt section midway up, because of the thin wall design, I was able to cut the crack out and epoxy the smaller section back inside the larger section... I still use it for trout on occasion.

i was buying ammo at Bens Loan when i saw that S-Glass, it had an Ambassaduer 5000 on it and the price was 50.00.... i went home and told my dad i saw it, and his eyes widened up and was like "REALLY?"... so i went an bought it for him, he was planning on taking it with him on Christmas Day of 05 (he had been on vacation) for his float trip down the Duc with a family friend and co worker.... he was really looking forward to using that rod...
problem was, he didnt make it to the 25th... 2 years later i landed that Silver (told ya the pic was old), biggest Silver caught out of that river... it was rather interesting fighting that fish on that rod, being it only an 8' 8-12... but i did, and that was the point that i decided i should really be using this rod, and not letting it just sit there... so i mess with it quite a bit now...

Pretty close to the same, the two 83's above the Classic Glass get the most play.
85's are for performing full chiropractic adjustments on most fish in WA.
Took me a good portion of sniffing to compile those rods. Not selling, thanks.

Nice collection, JM !
FS83C and FS79C are my two favorites of the series. FS80C is another.
Seeker has copied this Fenwick line. Identical tapers, S-Glas etc. They are gloss black. Have not fished one.

83c's are my fav, and seem to be the most versatile. They are deluxe supreme with one of these squatting atop em.... Not allowed to wear breathable waders while fishing these. Hip boots, or the Old Timer's will wanna skin you.

Old shiz sucks......... Nice. I learned to drift fish with a 2000 Series Bantam. (2001GT) 2nd generation Bantam. Like the lower spool height as compared to the original Bantam. Still have 'em all.

Can anyone tell me anything about these reels, year, etc? I have a Abu Ambassador 1000 C bait caster that is black. An Abu Garcia Mitchell 410 spinning reel that is mint still in the box with the paper work and a Centaure spinning reel...says made in France.
