I'm calling BS that you own a Kimber......

..but if you do *have* one (no questions asked as to how you got it), I'll give ya $150 cash for it and a $5 gift card at Starbucks so you can still get that cup of coffee!

laugh

PS. Don't anyone even try to out bid me on RH's Kimber as I'll just edit your posts so I win! laugh

PPS. I like the folks who are stating that they are going to be showing up with a pile of cash and trying to buy some of these guns before they make it to the program! rofl

I'm cashing in! I found this last year in our bank parking lot.

Turned it into the Aberdeen PD. Requested possession of it after the 45-60 day waiting period and they gave it back to me. Looks like a great opportunity to turn it in for PROFIT! Now I just need to go to Seattle.

we own 3 (2 technically) Parker, 1 was given to my brother by my dad when he graduated the CITC program 1 was my dads carry gun, and 1 is a target gun...

2 Pro Carry II's 1 black, 1 stainless

and 1 Eclipse Target II

and i was just being a smart ass, i wouldnt bring any of my guns there, not even my POS Walther P22, 100 dollars isnt worth my time...

when i decide to get my CPL, its either gonna be the Pro Carry or the Smith and Wesson 60LS that will be carried... the 629 Classic is just too big of a gun to carry wink

That's old H&R Young American in .22LR. It would take a few hundred dollars in donations to Numerich gun parts to make it worth $65. Hammer spring is broken/rusted, cylinder is scored from dry firing in every chamber (can't chamber any rounds), finish is shot and the swingarm is bent. I figure I'll just buy some gun related stuff off of Amazon.com with it.

Willy, thread some brass welding/brazing rod, drill holes through the crack, add wood glue into the crack, cinch the crack tight with some electrical tape, then using a drill run the threaded rod through the predrilled holes. Sand all the metal down, can of BBQ black paint for the finish, and you are good to go, unless the action is shot. wink

There should be a rule amongst gun owners that trade in worthless firearms to the buy back program, that the proceeds only go towards the purchase of new firearms.

Let the City of Seattle fund more "guns on the street" (keeping in mind that any publically owned firearms are inherently dangerous and deserve the negative connotation)

hey andy, thanks for the advice. the action is probably fine, and it would probably be safe to shoot, but i just won't ever use it. it's an old sears "long range winner" like this one, but in worse condition:

it's just taking up space, and I could use the $ for some sights for my 22/45 which is missing the rear sight

I don't think I'll be giving up my Pro Covert II (with night sights and freakin' lazer beam!) Kimber for $100 just yet.......

That's more of my weekend, or out on the river carry gun. A little too big for every day use. For that, I like my Sig P290.

I think I'm going to cash in a side-by-side Belgium made shotgun that I picked up from my grandparents estate. Thing has to be well over 100 years old. It's not operational, has more rust on it than the Titanic and is not possible to restore, let alone think abou restoring. Makes Dogfish's pistol look pristine.

I'll take the $100 Amazon gift card in exchange for a non-working shotgun, thank you very much Seattle.

That Sig is cute. At least you carry something else that shoots bullets of some consequence.

Zombies? Why did you have to bring zombies in to this?

I have my own care package for zombies..........not some cute little cap gun. The cute little orange shotgun shells are extra DragonBreath's. Just to liven up the party after the volley of sabot slugs.

Zombies hate the 1911.

They are not fond of the 1918 DerCrackenCranium Knife, either.

wink

I used to have a knife similar to that. Was 1912 Army issue and had a triangular blade than fit it a sheath. I can't believe I traded it away. I've not seen another like it. Had two ridges of steel knuckles and as a kid I used to go around "punching" telephone poles and the like with it. As a knife....useless.......the thing only had one purpose.....killing.

edit: "than fit it a sheath"???? WTF? meant to say "a triangular blade that fit in a sheath"

fingers having an out-body-experience wink found a picture

I'm glad you kept the Kimber Pakuito. You should go to a Shooting on the Move class with me in march and bring it along.
