Just got back from fishing on the Santiam with the Gamehog. Pulled divers and bait, drift fished, bobbers, spoons, you name it we did it, down ten miles of river. No fish no bites, no nothing, three lost plugs. Buddies reel went hen [Bleeeeep!] half way through. This is the second Shimano Corsair 401 that has gone bad on him in the last 24 hrs. Got back to the rig and discovered broken driver side window, ten pound rock in the seat. Tried to return the reel but of coarse the store closes early on Saturday. I told him he should have bought an Ambassador. Are all of the Corsair 401's junk? Guess I'll have to lend him one of my Abu's for tomorrow, that is if we can find another rig since mine is temporarily indisposed. Maybe my girlfriends old BMW? Hmm.....

I have heard that those corsairs are bad for blowing up. Something to do with having plastic gears.
