My folks are coming out from Indiana in a couple weeks and are all excited about the prospects of catching a few pinks. But their timing is bad - they fly back on opening day for the rivers. So is anyone willing to say what a good float would be to do some C&R fishing for pinks on the Snohomish or Skagit?

tks,
Bruce

A good float on the Skagit would be Marblemount to Sutter creek. It is about 5 miles and has good water from top to bottom. This would be a half day float. If you want to spend more time on the river, Drift from Marblemount to Rockport. Again good water. You may run into some silvers while you are out. The skagit gets a small run of summer silvers. On the Snohomish I would go from Toulco to Douglas Bar.

Check the regs on the Skagit-presently there will be no humpy season. But a little C&R-what the hey, hook one up for Ma and Pa.
