CG got it. To hell with Aluminum. He's going with glass filled Nylon.
24' FLAT BLACK BATTLE WAGON. Lighter means faster and with twin 250 V max on a custom tiller he should be able to hit around 90 knots. The helmets are killer.

Is this going to be one of the new super duper vees that is copying willies options? I was surprised when I went to the Portland sportsman show that the only boats than didn't offer top loading rod lockers were Alumawelds.

I am not knocking Alumaweld, I am just surprised that they have taken so long to catch up with the competition.

Doc, I have put in for vacation time, still pending? I'd be glad to offer you an open seat for springers if our schedules allow.

WRO...Willie builds a great boat too, not knocking them by any means(I actually own a Willie drift boat), but there will be accessories on this one that they have not even seen. Btw...I have personally seen many alumaweld boats with top loading rod lockers...maybe they just didn't have them at the Portland show?

I can't wait to see the step by step build of this one and hopefully it's maiden voyage!

I've seen a few of these on the Chehalis, fully adjustable the width of the boat. Spooners are so particular.

They don't even list them as an option on the Alumaweld webpage, the only ones I have seen were on the three rivers webpage and there were only a couple of pics that aren't even listed anymore.

While functionality is a prime consideration, the new sled also promises to be one of the most recognizable in PNW waters. The reincarnation of Team eyeFISH is definitely taking shape.

Issac,
You need a hug or something? I'm sure you can get the attention you desire on craigslist.

I'm looking forward to seeing the fishing platform Mr. eyeFish is putting together!

Doc -

You gonna post a build thread for the new boat with pics?
