i sent a small padded envelope... about 4x6 probably, the last one was 6x10... the USPS goes by weight on small items such as this.... if you paid 2.07 you paid too much....

Of the 4 padded envelopes that I received today, there were 3 8x5's and 1 8.5x12.

The price for the 3 8x5's:

$0.92
$0.66
1 that must have been done from a company.

I think it goes by weight & distance from my address.

The 8.5x12 was $1.52

Hope this helps
Mike

USPS site says 1 forever stamp covers up to an ounce. The whole package weighs just under 3 ounces, so I'm going with 3 stamps.

Sorry for trashing the thread, Equinox, and thanks for putting on the contest.

It's all good if it will help someone else.

Out of the 2 5x8 padded envelopes the one from Seattle was cheaper than the one from Aberdeen.

I know if you stand in line at the post office, they weight it digitally and give the exact weight to price ratio and it would be cheaper than UPS.

Being that your time is worth money & standing in line isn't an option, 3 stamps will cover the 5x8 and is cheaper than driving to the post office.

Sent mine it cost 2 dollars with the padded envelope.

You might think about making two drawing hats. One with all seeds 1-8 and another with all seeds 9-16. Or top 33 ranked teams and bottom 33, based on ESPN or AP or whatever.

Might extend the excitement for some of us. Just a thought.

Thanks again Equinox.

I know some of you have PM'ed me that your package of jigs is in the mail and thank you for that.

The list is for the package of jigs & money that I have ALREADY received. As I receive jig packages, I will edit the list.

I do ask that if you haven't sent it yet, please do so ASAP !!!

They have to be in the mail Tuesday 3/12/2013 or Wednesday 3/13/2013 as the NCAA Selection Sunday is the 17th.

I will video tape the drawing on Saturday the 16th and PM the ones that I have received their package of jigs.

I will also send a PM to those that did not tell me they have sent theirs. (Along with the PM, I will also use the Email option on the PM as another source of contacting you)

Mike,
Did I read somewhere that anybody that wanted to be present for the drawing could come to your house on Saturday and enjoy the pre-drawing kegger (with strippers, I'm assuming) and BBQ dinner....?

Everybody on the "jiggy" Tournament list has either contacted me or sent them in.

I'm waiting on 4 members' jig packages and will draw for bracket locations on Saturday the 16th. Also I will send out PM's of bracket locations to those that I have received their package of jigs.

Now that everybody has been notified with bracket locations, it's time to put up the video links.

I tried to do this as fair as I could, some of you got GREAT locations and a few of some EXTREMELY BAD bracket locations. I have taken it upon myself to give a prize to the top 3 worst picks received. By adding the 2 seeds together, the 3 highest numbers will get a prize donated by myself.

Speaking of donated prizes, I have to thank the advertisers that stepped up and generously gave to the "jiggy" Tournament !!!

When the contest/raffle started, there was going to be just the jigs for 1 prize. It grew to the Final 4, Finals and WINNER because of the advertisers that donated and I thank them all tremendously for that.

The advertisers that were so kind to donate are:

Three Rivers Marine & tackle -----www.3riversmarine.com/

rvrfshr products --------------------store.rvrfshr.com/

Bnr Tackle ---------------------------bnrtackle.com/products/Holey_Worms.php

Puffballs -----------------------------www.puffballs.net/

Salamander Sinkers ----------------www.salamandersinkers.com/

There will be more about the advertisers later, just remember these guys when you need some gear !!!

Thanks go out to all those that entered !!!

You guys did a great job getting the jigs out, helping me cover shipping (thanks to those that sent a little extra) and the majority of you donating to Bob's band width.

Thanks Steelspanker for the kind words and being a good sport about your picks.

Even though some of you didn't get good bracket locations, it really is anybody's ball game. Especially this year when so many top ranked teams have fallen to lesser teams. There are going to be ALOT of upsets this year, I can't wait for it to unfold.

Good Luck Everybody !!!

I hate to see anyone with 2 "16".......I have 2 in the "Midwest".......I'd trade my 5 in the Midwest for your 16d in the South.

If that can be done?????? If not.......???? then I'll just "go with the flow"

What are the chances???? 2 ----- 16 picks, wow
