I saw the barge on the road yesterday after Canyon Man got off the water with her....holy hell, that thing is SAWEET!
Looking forward to packing the driveway like last year and seeing that sweet'thang on the water.
Nice looking boat Doc, well done!
K2 The carnage around 10-1030pm!!! Cleaning fish, cleaning boats, tying up fresh leaders, and tipping back a few cold one's!!! Getting ready for the next day's assault on GH!!! Is that your tow rig/boat in the foreground Kev??? After getting yours in the driveway, I think we shut down access to Doc's didn't we!?! What a weekend!!! For some what a week!!! Winterun

That week will be here soon. Its all out now. 25+ days of salmon and tuna fishing to jam in before Deer season starts then some river time. Screw Christmas this IS the most wonderful time of the year. Happy Birthday a little early this year Doc. Save me a couple parking spots.

I would have them adjust the sounder sensor location down a bit. My thoughts exactly. Depth reading cuts out just beyond 16-17 knots. Looking straight down at the water from the transom at cruising speed, water is simultaneously skimming past the hull and the cavitation plate at the exact same level. The bottom of the transducer is probably ever so slightly above that level at full plane, picking up some turbulence from the hull. Down a few millimeters will probably take care of it perfectly.

Have you unplugged the wire under the cowling on the 9.9 so it starts in gear??
Maybe when I start free-drifting? OK... maybe not since I put a Bay kit on the kicker to make sure the ENTIRE prop is below the bottom of the boat this time around.
