I knew she was the one a week after we started dating. I bought a ring about two weeks later.

Been together 20 years and married 17. I can count on one hand, the times she has asked me not to go fishing/hunting/out with the boys.

She likes coitus and I generally get to knock the bottom out of her 4-5 nights a week.

She is very smart and has an outstanding job.

She is an incredible mother to our two kids.

I don't think I could find a woman better suited for me.

I've been married to Tracey 15 years this year, and while we have had our difficult times, they make the good times that much sweeter. She is a great Woman, Mother, and friend, and funny as hell. She lets me fish and go on trips pretty much whenever. She takes great care of me and leaves me feeling like a really lucky guy at the end of every day.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I have a great wife who also fishes. That means she goes with me once and a while and has no issues when I take my 2-5 day trips.

Took her on a guided Steelhead trip this spring. We boated 8. Her 6, me 2. When we got done I could see the guide wanted to say something to her but was choosing his words. He finally told her that she was one of the best fisher-people he had had on his boat and she was welcomed back any time.

That being said. I'll only get married once.

21 years together, 19 married. Her dad took her fishing and hunting and sort of made my path easier. Certainly had our rough spots, but we power through it.

Dam... Those are the same numbers I got yesterday... He cursed PP to marital demise! Hahahaha! Good thing I'm not married! At least if I get the boot, she won't have half of my goods. Like shed want it anyways, but its the primciple that counts! I live a pretty tight life, but the stuff I do own outright, I wouldn't want to be without!

2 years later for us and the only thing that has changes is my wife went from fair weather fisher to all year fisher she got hooked big time and now theres not to many fishing trips I go on that we dont go together.

We'll see if I make it as a married man to the next resurrection of this thread.

After reading all of this it just reaffirms our choice to not have an "official piece of paper" for the last 14 years.

Been married 13 years. An honest mistake on my wife's part.

We don't have that many shared interests, except for the most important one: We like being married to each other. I don't think we have ever had a fight that lasted longer than about 3 hours. Probably because I am whipped!

I'm lucky, a pretty woman, who takes great care of our little girls and is attracted to an irresponsible man-child.

I can't foresee the future, but right now I like where things are at for us.
