congrats coley! thats awesome on the new addition to the family. Have a #2 on the way right now. Working on getting #1 into fishing as we speak. Being a dad is a blast and challenging all at the same time youll do well.

Secondly, miles of class 3/4 whitewater, boulder gardens, and the fishing you are describing sounds like a dream come true to me. Those photos are stellar. Just a litte green with envy at your selection of remote floats available.

It just dont get much better than that.Congratulations on the new addition to your family. They grow up so fast, enjoy the journey.
My daughter is 22 now and just graduated form college and moved out on her own. I still have fond memories of her first rainbow she caught and the trips we spent out in nature exploring and learning. Beautifull country right there...Well done!

Better than Damn near. Coley IS the man.

I loved all the shots, but was glad Lara grabbed the camera as Coley is much too modest to get in front of the lens often, and usually looks pissed off when he does. I really liked the shot looking over his shoulder trying to find the best line. BTW I did NOT see a good one.

Again thanks for the kind words and I am glad that many here enjoy this sort of thing. Quality of content is what lead me to this site originally and what has kept me here and really only here since. I figure it just ain't right to continue to soak up the good stuff that others offer without trying to put something into the pot now and then myself.

The web ain't the world and I hope we all continue to get out and experience the really important stuff more often than not. That having been said, I am grateful for the outlet and for an avenue to share passions with folks that can understand and appreciate. I don't have too many of those in my daily adult life anymore, so it good and therapeutic even for me as well.

Sincere thanks also for the insight into and reflections on what it means to add a new life to the mix. Joe, Steve, Sam, Charles, et al, very much appreciated. A new and exciting chapter indeed. Very much looking forward to it.

Cheers.

Prose and picture perfect. Who needs an Outdoor Life subscription when you've got ColeyG's posts to read! The ending was special; O. Henry would have liked it. Congratulations, the best is yet to come.

CG,
Like a number of good folk that post here, yours are always greedily read. The reflective prose of your journeys and experiences together with the artfully-framed images from some of the quieter corners of the places we have both visited, and those you respectfully introduce, resonate more than you may know. A sincere thank you for the albeit brief respite from some of the Jerry Springer Show contestants that come and go from these pages....
