Please help out an "eastsider" looking for a report for the Sky or Sno. Eternally grateful. snit

Sky Was turning out some fish through last weekend but it is low and clear now. I pulled a brat out on Sunday in the lower river and talked to a guy who swam one before a long distance release. We were both using fly gear. A few natives have been caught including a 22 lb. and a 17 pounder. I will be back out on Sunday to chase them again.

Well I just got back and got my fingers and toes thawed out. Hit the lower Sky this morning as a walkin with one of my regular fishing buddies. We fished good water all morning but a single pull for him was the only sign of fish. Water low, clear and cold (35 degrees). After December I hate to say it but we need some rain. Hope everyone else did better today.

Floated the lower river on sat, the damn wind wouldn't allow me to float down to the high bridge. Water and weather were beautiful from Ben Howard down but no fish. Sunday was way to windy for effective fishing on the upper river. Lots of lost gear and cold fingers. snit

Yeah, I blew down from H-bridge on Saturday. I would have made record time with a sail. Water is very-extremly low.

Pounded the Sky all day on Saturday, bumped every stone in the river from just up above the Wallace down to the mouth. Not a thing is sight. Left there and went downstream to the Lewis street bridge and pounded it out till dusk. I didn't even have a take down!!! Let's pray to the rain god now so next weekend will be productive. See ya!

Hit the lower river for a few hours this morning. Conditions were perfect: water temp up a couple degrees from the weekend, level dropping fast into shape after jumping almost 3' on Tuesday and 3 1/2 ft. visability. I fished three of my favorite pools but nothing to show for it. Oh well, I still had a great time and my only company was 2 bald eagles. I will be back on the weekend.
