I had a 'dude' time about two weeks ago when I spun some vinyl at a wedding on Miller Bay. Being a 67 yr old codger, I was quite surprised when I playing some reggae tunes for a friend's family picnic & a fellow reggae music fan asked me to play his wedding & he'd pay me!
I didn't agree uuntil I met the bride to make sure she was onboard but it worked out better than I expected. Big fun & I kept the newlyweds dancing the whole night.

Sat at hula Girl's at whalers this afternoon after a busy morning, Uncle Glen playing some soothing island music in 90 degree sunshine,things have slowed down but lots of bare skin and smiles going on!!!PEACE

While my grandson and I didn’t get as higk as KK, we did see some awesome scenery this summer.

Enjoyed your pics of Glacier. Last fall, we made the trip across Going-to-the-Sun Highway the last weekend the road was open. This spring, for a different perspective, we crossed the park three days after the plows had cleared the highway. Driving that road is a bucket list worthy experience!

This is the 2013 schedule for the Going-to-the-Sun Highway. Better start packing the rig tonight...

Here are some dates to remember:
•September 22, 2013 - The last day to drive the entire 50 miles.
•September 23, 2013 - A section of the road will close to vehicle traffic to accommodate accelerated road rehabilitation. You will still be able to drive to Logan Pass from the West Entrance. The Going-to-the-Sun Road will be closed between St. Mary Campground and Logan Pass.
•October 20, 2013 - The last day to drive to Logan Pass from the West Entrance
•October 21, 2013 - The alpine section of the road will be inaccessible to vehicles.

Mantiques. Dude's don't go to antique shops or go thrift store shopping. They clean the garage. Few things my dad had in the garage and gave to me the other day that I thought were pretty cool.
The Lamp is an Alladin Lamp Company model P-L1. It was manufactured in 1939 and was a military version of a similar model. I found one on Etsy going for $379!

So I was in the store getting a replacement fishing license on my recent visit on the mainland since I lost the one I bought almost instantly, and the man behind the counter looks at me and ask me if I know where I lost it at, Serious!!!PEACE
