Not a good day today. However, as dark as it is in Cougville, brighter days are ahead.

Yeah guys I'm from Fort Collins and the Rams are not a good, healthy program right now, but they are headed in the right direction. To "Coug It" against the Rammies is really giving the term a new definition.

The term "Coog'd It" didn't just fall from the sky.

The Coogers have a long and storied history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Now they've got a top-tier coach that has them Coog'n It at a level never seen before.

You know, the Cougar pride was riding pretty high this season around my workplace. One of my co-worker's Dad has husky-season tickets, so I thought it might be fun to tape a picture of Leach to the wall so he would see it every time he left his office.


After the total meltdown I witnessed Saturday, I asked the co-worker for his assistance this morning:

I stopped watching this game after the 2nd quarter ended. Up by 20 or so at the half, WSU's QB was on pace to throw for 10 TD's - this was an absolute SURE win for the Coogs.

Oh, how I should have known better......

All the failings of the kids aside...Mike Leach should be fired for not just taking a knee a couple of times and going home with a bowl win and a winning season.

That was the worst coaching job ever...ever.

There are failures of judgment, failures of strategy...this was straight of failure of being able to do 1st grade level math, or have even a rudimentiary understanding of the track record of "Being a Coog".

Hey, just curious, how many points were the Huskies up in the 4th quarter of the 2012 Apple Cup? Why it was 18. Point being epic failure is not limited to the Cougs in recent history. The Dawgs have thrown up on themselves plenty over the last 20 years as well.

There might be a valid comparison if the Huskies could have taken a knee and watched the game end, rather than play poorly and lose a lead over the course of an entire quarter.
